Wind River Arboretum and Canopy Crane Description
The Wind River Canopy Crane Research Facility in the Wind River Experimental Forest was designed to aid in research of the forest. The Canopy Crane allows researchers to access the upper levels of the forest. Unfortunately the crane and surrounding forest are not open to the public due to concerns with safety and impact on the environment.
