Description
(Local Name: Necrópolis Romana) A signpost on the left on the N IV from Seville points the way to the nearby Roman cemetery in Carmona, where more than 900 tombs have been brought to light, some of them with forecourts and benches for the funeral meal. The most interesting are the three-room Triclinio del Elefante, which takes its name from a stone figure of an elephant, and the large Tumba de Servilia, a beehive-shaped family tomb.
