Cappenberg - Stiftskirche 


The Stiftskirche in Cappenberg, near Dortmund, is a former collegiate church (12th and 14th C.), and has richly carved 16th C. choir-stalls. The church treasury contains a famous reliquary (c. 1165) in the form of a head of the Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, presented by the Emperor to his godfather Otto von Cappenberg.
