Canmore Winter Festival

The Canmore Winter Festival lasts 10 days and is usually held in late January or February. This winter celebration includes all kinds of activities with ice carving competitions, curling, dog sledding or 'Kid and Mutt' races, and more. In the evenings and throughout the festival live entertainment is provided at various venues with everything from classical music to rock groups.

For visitors passing through the Canadian Rockies in winter, this can be a fun way to see or participate in some winter events.
