Canal Winchester Area Historical Society Museum
The Canal Winchester Area Historical Society Museum is focused on preserving the treasures associated with local history. The historical society complex consists of the Hocking Valley "Queen of the Line" railroad depot with cabooses, and the O.P. Chaney grain elevator, both of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Also part of the Canal Winchester Area Historical Society Museum is the one room Prentiss School and a monument dedicated to Civil War Pvt. Alfred Cannon.
