St Jacobs Attractions

St Jacobs seems like an open-air museum in itself, but has a museum of its own, "The Meeting Place" at 33 King Street, which tells the story of the Anabaptists and how they were driven out of Europe in general and Switzerland in particular.
The town has a Mennonite heritage which visitors can learn more about at the St Jacobs Visitors Centre.
The Mennonite Story - Visitor Centre
Visitors to the The Mennonite Story - Visitor Centre in St Jacobs can learn about the history, culture and religion of the Mennonite people. Photos, slide presentations, artifacts and replicas of the interior of an Old Order Mennonite kitchen and a Meetinghouse are featured.
