The Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary in Kingsville was established in 1904 by the naturalist Jack Miner. It is at its best during the spring and autumn migrations (Mar./Apr. and Oct./Nov.) when huge flocks of Canada geese and wild duck call in on their flight north or south.
