Grande-Anse Attractions

From the Grand-Anse west of Caraquet there is a breathtaking view over the Baie des Chaleurs, with its amalgam of quiet bays and dramatic rock formations. Nearby is a newly laid-out park with a beautiful bathing beach. In the town of Grand Anse, founded in 1810, the "Pope Museum", with a model of St Peter's in Rome and portraits of all the popes, warrants a visit.
