Gananoque Attractions

Gananoque is a resort town and gateway to the 1000 Islands. Activities include historic buildings, museums,

St. Lawrence Islands National Parks, fishing, hiking, boating, snowmobile, and boat tours. This is an incredibly popular area for visitors during the summer months.

Arthur Child Heritage Centre

At the Arthur Child Heritage Centre in Gananoque visitors will find dioramas, videos and interactive displays relating to the history of the War of 1812, Regional Geography and Wildlife, Plying The River, and First Nations.

Landon Bay Centre

Landon Bay Centre is an ecological reserve with themed floral gardens, hiking trails, a scenic lookout, camping, swimming, and a playground. The centre is located in the 1000 Islands Region near Gananoque.
