Nepean, located not from Ottawa, is home to several galleries, Edgewood Golf and Country Club, Shouldice Berry Farm and Market as well as Valleyview Little Animal Farm.

Kidz Sports World in Nepean is a fitness entertainment centre with state-of-the-art equipment, giant inflatable obstacle courses, rock climbing wall, and lazer tag. Corporate parties and birthday parties cab be booked at the facility.

Jungle Cat World in Orono is home to tigers, lions, jaguars, snow leopards, wolves, bears and monkeys. The rarest feline the Amur Leopard, from Russia's Far East has had a successful breeding program that allows them to join other wildlife parks.

Storyland near Renfrew is a 30-acre woodland setting offering 32 life-size storybook scenes from children's stories. Families will also enjoy the playground, water play area, mini-golf, petting zoo and picnic areas.

The Champlain Lookout provides a lookout along the Ottawa River.
