Duck Mountain Provincial Park

Duck Mountain Provincial Park caters for a wide range of leisure activities, particularly in the area around the lake. Near the Ministik Beaches, in addition to an 18-hole golf course, there are facilities for riding, tennis, cycling, boating and mini-golf, also angling on both Madge and Batka Lakes. In winter the possibilities include cross-country skiing and snowmobile trekking.

As the route heads west again along Hwy. 5, the Ukrainian origins of many of the inhabitants of this part of Saskatchewan are everywhere evident, most noticeably the Ukrainian Orthodox churches with their silver domes.
