Buffalo Paddocks

North of the town of Banff, about 1 km (1/2 mi.) west of the junction of Banff Avenue and the TransCanada Highway, it is possible to drive through Buffalo Paddocks, an area of some 40ha/100 acres where bison graze between May and October.

The drive is a loop offering a close up glimpse of buffalo in a natural setting and may be of interest to visitors who have not seen buffalo before.
