Brampton Attractions
The city of Brampton was founded in 1852 and is located just west of Etobicoke, in the GTA. The first settlers, John Elliott and John Scott, arrived from England and they opened a store, copper shop, and potashery. The town is well-known for the many walking trails and parks.
Bovaird House
Built in the mid 19th Century, Historic Bovaird House in Brampton is a Canadian example of a Georgian-type farmhouse. The grounds include a garden and gazebo.
Lionhead Golf and Country Club
Lionhead Golf and Country Club is open to the public and is also host to a variety of tournaments every year. There are two 18 hole golf courses at Lionhead Golf and Country Club, both open to the public.

Peel Heritage Complex
Peel Heritage Complex is home to an art gallery, museum and archives. It is housed in a renovated, historic, 19th C jail. Changing art exhibits, the region's history and the history of the jail are highlighted.

Wild Water Kingdom
Wild Water Kingdom is the largest water park in Canada. With 16 water slides, hot tubs, and a 1/2 acre wave pool, there is plenty to do for the whole family.
