Bobcaygeon Attractions
Bobcaygeon, was named for a Mississauga Indian word meaning "shallow rapids" - it is built on three islands surrounded by rapids. The town is known for recreational activities such as boating, fishing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. During the summer months the town is a popular tourist spot and day trip destination from Toronto.
Boyd Heritage Museum
The Boyd Heritage Museum focuses on the Boyd family prior to 1920, especially on its influence with its lumbering and agricultural interests. The site includes artifacts and photogrpahs as well as the Boyd Lumber Office which was built in 1889.

Kawartha Settlers' Village
Kawartha Settlers' Village in Bobcaygeon is the site of restored homes and buildings that date back to the 1800s. This former farm also has displays of agricultural equipment in the barn.
