Baddeck Attractions
Baddeck is one of the most beautiful villages in Nova Scotia. Its name means "where an island is nearby". Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone, had a summer residence here.
Baddeck is located along the world famous Cabot Trail.
In the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site can be seen personal effects and documents belonging to the inventor, as well as parts of two hydroplanes made by Bell and powered by aircraft engines.
Seasonal events are also held on site at the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, sometimes featuring artists and muscians.
