Caltabellotta - Sant'Agostino

Behind the Gothic Church of Sant'Agostino, with its Descent of the Cross in colored terracotta by A. Ferraro (1552), a path leads up to the ruins of the hermitage of San Pellegrino - pilgrimages to this patron saint take place on 18th August - and then down to the Chiesa Madre.

Inside this church, which dates back to Norman times, there is a Madonna by Gagini.
