MINE CEASED OPERATION IN 2003.

The Rand Mining Company in Randsburg employs over 80 people and works 24 hours a day. It produces about 5,000 ounces of gold a month.

The Randsburg Living Ghost Town allows visitors to step back in time to the days of the Gold Rush. The town has been restored to its former glory when it had 3,000 residents. Antique shops, the historical museum, opera house, and post office are highlights of Randsburg.
