Escondido Attractions

The California Center for the Arts in Escondido is located on a 12 acre campus and features 9,000 square feet of galleries with exhibits of 20th C visual arts. There is an outdoor sculpture court.

Deer Park Vintage Cars includes more than 112 vintage cars in three buildings. Visitors will see a Model A Ford and a 1957 Chevy Bel Air as well as many more classic automobiles in impeccable condition.

The Escondido History Center displays buildings preserved from Escondido's early days. The structures were rescued from demolition and relocated to the park, where they serve as Escondido's historical museum complex. The buildings include a windmill, farm sculpture, tank house and herb garden.

ATTRACTION IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

There are go karts, children's rides, bumper boats and three miniature golf courses at the Family Fun Center in Escondido. There is also a giant maze.

The 331-seat Lawrence Welk Theater in Escondido contains a museum dedicated to the congenial TV host.

San Pasqual Battlefield State Historic Park, preserves the memory of the soldiers who fought in the battle between the U.S. and California on December 6, 1846 during the Mexican-American War.

The Sengme Oaks Water Park has waterslides, a children's pool in a wooded setting. Picnicking is allowed.
