Angeles National Forest offers visitors a variety of outdoor activities on its 650,000 acres. There are 110 campsites, hiking trails, 33 picnic areas, hiking trails and skiing in the winter.

Last admission 30 minutes before closing. The tram costs $4.00 per person and runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Atop the 5,710-foot Mount Wilson sits an observatory, funded in 1904 by astronomer George E. Hale. The historic Hooker 100-inch telescope can be viewed from the Visitors' Gallery inside the dome. The on-site museum was built in 1936 with displays that cover the past 70 years.
