Caledon - Venster Kloof Nature Garden

The Venster Kloof Nature Garden (area 56ha/138 ac) established in 1927, is part of a nature reserve on the Swartberg, a hill to the north of the town. It takes its name from a rock in the shape of a window (venster). It contains many native species of trees, but is mainly known for its profusion of wild flowers. A large Wild Flower Show is held here annually in September.
