Felsenweg / Hammetschwand Tour

This two-hour tour is strongly recommended:

Starting from the Bürgenstock hotels, walk along the Felsenweg on the Hammetschwand cliffs (30minutes) to the Hammetschwand lift, which runs up the vertical rock face to the upper station (restaurant) at 1,115 m/3,580ft. Take the lift down again and continue on the Felsenweg, the finest stretch of which begins here: 20minutes to the Honegg-Känzeli, and from there another 30minutes, past the Kurhaus Honegg and the golf-course, back to the hotels. The narrow road which runs from the hotels by way of the Honegg saddle to Ennetbürgen can be used by cars only from the Kurhaus Honegg.
