Üllõi út leads from Kálvin tér (Inner Ring) along an arterial road to the southeast. The section near the center is flanked by a number of very well-maintained neo-classical buildings. Of special note is the former residence of the composer Ferenc Erkel (No. 17; architect Miklós Ybl) as well as some of the older buildings of Semmelweis University.
