Budapest - People's Park Népliget
With an area of 112ha (277ac) Népliget (People's Park) is the largest park in Budapest. It was laid out in the 1860s, and was refurbished some time ago in accordance with the latest horticultural ideas. Its old trees, flower-beds, greenswards, fountains and playing areas make it extremely popular.

Planetárium
The Planetarium, opened in 1977 in the southeast part of Népliget, is one of the most modern of its kind in eastern Europe. In the dome-room visitors can see an astro-show made possible by the use of Zeiss-Jena projection equipment.
