(Local Name: Nagy Vásárcsarnok) The Central Market opened towards the end of the 19th C. The structure originally incorporated an indoor canal by which goods were delivered to the market traders. Although the canal is long gone, there is a variety of fresh produce, meat and flowers for sale.
