Buda Upland Budai-hegység
The Buda Upland forms the natural western boundary of the Hungarian capital. The hills, consisting of dolomite, chalk, clay and marl are, for the most part, wooded and have long been very popular with the inhabitants of Budapest as a local recreation area. A close network of paths, fine scenery, games and sports facilities, a pioneer railroad, cafés, etc, testify to the attractions of this beautiful upland area.
