Bruchsal Palace Schloss
The 18th century Baroque palace in Bruchsal was the home of the Prince-Bishops of Speyer. It was begun by Maximilian von Welsch in 1722, and Balthasar Neumann was also involved in its design. It is an elaborate complex of some fifty separate buildings set in a beautiful park. The palace suffered severe damage during the Second World War but has been excellently restored.
At Bruchsal Castle you will also find the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments. Guided tours of the museum are also included in the admission.
