Cane Garden Bay & Surroundings Attractions
The settlement at Cane Garden Bay is the oldest and most-developed tourist destination on Tortola. Many of the island's popular guesthouses and restaurants can be found near the crescent-shaped cove which is known for its turquoise waters backed by steep hills. The small West Indian settlement of Cane Garden Bay includes a police station, church and laundry. Other interesting attractions and beaches lie in the areas just outside Cane Garden Bay.

Sage Mountain National Park
Sage Mountain National Park was established in 1964 and contains Sage Peak standing at 523m, the highest peak in the Virgin Islands.
B.V.I Music Festival
A newer festival on Tortola, The B.V.I. Music Festival takes place over 3 days during a full moon in May at Cane Garden Bay. The first festival in 2001 featured live music from the following genres - reggae, calypso, R & B, salsa, fungi, gospel and jazz.
Cane Garden Bay Beach
Shaped like a crescent, Cane Garden Bay beach is almost 1mi/1.61km long and is Tortola's most popular beach. Backed by steep green hills, the bay waters are sheltered from winds inside the barrier reef. The beach is a busy anchorage with numerous opportunities for snorkelling and water sports. The beach is frequented by local West Indians, travellers and sailors, and is a popular place to hear island music on nights and weekends.
