Historical Museum

Within the town itself is the interesting Historical Museum of Campos Gerais (as Ponta Grossa was formerly called), with documents, photographs and personal mementoes of the settlers who populated this region as well as anthropological and paleontological material.

Buraco do Padre

27km/17mi south-east of Ponta Grossa is the Buraco do Padre, a cave containing a waterfall on an underground river.
