The Gaúcho Museum in Rua Augusto Zatti, also known as the Museu Rodeio Bonito, is the only museum in Rio Grande do Sul devoted to the traditions of the Gaúchos Serranos. It contains over 3500 exhibits dating from the so-called "leather cycle" and the period of the Guerra dos Farrapos catalogued by the Petersen family. Here guitarists play typical Gaúcho music from the highland region.
