Brandon - Daly House Museum
Daly House was the residence of the town's first mayor, Thomas Mayne Daly (1882). The historical furniture and fittings are much to be admired.
Daly House has an interesting history having served not only as the mayor's house but also children's center from 1936 to 1976. Daly House has four floors of displays including a complete kitchen, parlour, bedrooms, and dining rooms that demonstrate what a middle class period home of the 19th Century would look like.
One of the highlights is a perfectly preserved dollhouse over 100 years old.
