The Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum, No. 1 Hangar, McGill Field, restores and exhibits aircraft and training equipment.
One of only six provincially recognized theme museums, the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum is well worth a visit. The museum has over 22 displays that are thoughtfully laid out and chock full of interesting detail. The Commonwealth Air Training Plan museum is dedicated to preserving the memory of the 18,000 RCAF personnel who perished in World War 2. A souvenir shop is located on the premises and is well stocked with many gifts that visitors can purchase at a reasonable cost.
