The Wood County Historical Museum in Bowling Green is a great place to learn about the history of the city and Ohio. Thirty rooms display a range of artifacts related to the the Black Swamp, Oil and Gas Boom, the Settlers, Native Indians, and more. Some of the unique exhibits include a look at the history of mental health, medicine, decorating styles, dolls, and the Ku Klux Klan.

The Wood County Historical Museum is located in the old Wood County Infirmary which closed in 1971.
