Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Description
The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is near the south-west end of the Fens. It contains a small but distinguished collection of furniture, tapestries, sculpture, decorative art and American and European paintings. The charm of this museum lies in its character as a former private collection reflecting the personal preferences of the owners.

It is modeled after a 15th century Venetian palace with an interior flowering courtyard. The Museum also hosts a concert series on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30 during a part of each year.
