Bagni di Bormio

The Bagni Nuovi are situated on a mountain terrace. Their radioactive water, containing traces of gypsium, issues at temperatures between 38 and 41 °C/94 and 99 °F and is recommended for rheumatism, asthma and arteriosclerosis.

The seven springs of the Bagni Vecchi, mentioned by Pliny, in the Dolomites beyond the deep gorge of the Adda. Interesting are the so-called "piscine", bathing basins, rock-hewn by the Romans.
