Bomarzo - Park of Monsters

(Local Name: Parco dei Mostri) Outside Bomarzo, on the slopes of the hill, is the Parco dei Mostri ("Park of Monsters"), a beautiful terraced park with a whole series of monstrous and grotesque beasts, hewn from the rock in the 16th century by Turkish prisoners of war.
