Zig Zag Railway
The Zig Zag Railway in the Blue Mountains between Bell and Lithgow is an incredibly steep line completed in 1869 and replaced in 1910 by an alternative route. In the 1960s it was partially brought back into operation by railway enthusiasts and now runs excursions drawn by steam engines.
