Brandner Tal 
To the southwest of Bludenz is the Brandner valley, extending for some 12km/7.5mi to Brand. In this popular health and winter sports area lies the mountain village of Bürseberg and the Tschengla summit (1,250m/4,100ft) covered with Alpine meadows.

There is a chairlift up to the Eggen (1,271m/4,170ft), continuing to the Niggenkopf (1,596m/5,236ft), from which it is a 25minutes' walk to the Palüd-Hütte (1,720m/5,643ft; inn).
