Blankenberge - Zeedijk

Blankenberge's promenade, the more than 2km/1.5mile-long Zeedijk, runs along the sea front 10m/30ft above the level of the beach. Interspersed with somewhat unattractive modern hotels, restaurants, cafes and shops are one or two pleasing older buildings from the town's early days, as well as a number of villas.
