The Plumas-Eureka State Park and Museum in Blairsden was established in 1959. The museum was originally a miner's bunkhouse used by the men who mined for gold in the area in the 1850's. Displays include mining tools, photographs, pioneer household items, working models of antique mining machinery and antique skis as well as animals native to the park.
