Bishop Hill State Historic Site
Bishop Hill State Historic Site commemorates the Swedish communal settlement with five museums. Artisans and craftsmen demonstrate skills and crafts of colony life. Sixteen of the buildings have been restored including the Colony Church, Colony Hotel, Bishop Hill Museum and the Village Park.
