Bergen - Grieg Hall
Southwest of Bergen's Cathedral, in Rådstuplass, stands the Old Town Hall, a small 16th century building. To the south of this is the Lille Lungegårdsvann (lake), near the east end of which, adjoining the station, is the Municipal Library. Farther southwest, in Strømgate, is the Grieg Hall (Grieghallen), an impressive example of modern architecture world-famed for its excellent acoustics (concerts, opera and ballet).
