Rebecq Attractions
The small town of Rebecq, 10km/6miles southwest of Halle in the Senne valley, is the birthplace of the Solvay brothers, the founders of one of the largest industrial companies in Belgium.
These 18th and 19th C. buildings were part of an old industrial site from the 19th C. The machine room and forge are open to visitors. One of the rooms contains the porphyry museum, another is fitted out as a tavern.
