By the steps of the stadhuis (town hall), which is of 15th C. origin and was rebuilt in neo- Gothic style at the end of the 19th C., is a fountain with a Manneken Pis from 1455 making it the oldest monument of its kind in Belgium.
In the square is the Church of Sint-Bartholomeus (15th/19th C.). Interesting features include a stone font (1620), a wrought-iron communion rail, choir stalls, 18th C. confessionals and the choir lectern.
