Chaudfontaine, 10km/6miles south of Liège, is an attractive thermal spa resort on the Vesdre.

The town has a number of attractions including the Monument of Belles Fontaines, Basilic of Notre-Dame de Chèvremont (built in 1878), Fortress of Embourg, a military cemetery and the Abbey of Beaufays.
