The National Visserijmuseum (National Fishery Museum) is dedicated to the history and technology of fishing and has a collection of model fishing boats, instruments and tools. There are even reconstructions of a fishermen's tavern and cottage.

The Florishof is a restored group of buildings which is now a folklore museum with exhibitions of furniture, lace and everyday objects.

Sint-Niklaaskerk is an original building from 1954 with its pointed roofs and massive tower.Unusual are the absence of a choir and the columns in the yellowish interior which seem to sprout out of the ground.

A tropical paradise, SunAquaPark and SunTerraPark provide a wide variety of water sports, including hydrotubes, wave baths and whirlpools, along with numerous sports facilities and gift shops.

The visitor's center is found in the former main entrance of the Alden Biesen castle. It provides information on the history of the building and surrounding countryside.
