Beijing - Military Museum

(Local Name: Zhongou Junshi Bowuguan) China's military history of the last 3000 years is portrayed with paintings, models, historical photographs and battle plans in the monumental sino-stalinist building (northwest of the Temple of the White Clouds) - pre-modern times on the second upper floor of the left west wing, the wars of the 20th C in the entire east wing. Opposite the entrance is the large hall of armaments where weapons of the present day, including tanks and airplanes, are exhibited.
