Beef Island - Chikuzen Shipwreck
The wreck of the Japanese refrigeration ship, the Chikuzen, lies 6mi/10km off the coast of Beef Island at a depth of 75ft/23m. Since the ship sank in 1981, the 246ft/75m hull has attracted vibrant reef life and is one of the British Virgin Island's prime diving sites, perfect for underwater photography. Some fish that can be spotted are barracudas, horse-eye jacks, big rays and many more.
