Barra del Colorado, Costa Rica Tourism

This small village is found near the mouth of the Colorado River. The river divides the village into northern and southern quarters, Barra del Norte and Barra del Sur. The village has no roads, and travel is usually by boat through the swampy area outside the village. The Barra del Colorado area has over 2,000 inhabitants. There are many lodges
