Barcelona - Pedralbes
Pedralbes is one of the most favored residential areas of Barcelona; the more modern of the University buildings are also grouped in the Zona Universitaria. The King of Spain himself resides here, in the Palau de Pedralbes. The main place to visit in this suburban district, once a village and later absorbed by Barcelona, is the Convent near the end of the Avinguda de Pedralbes.

Zona Universitaria
Some way out, at the southwestern end of the Avinguda de la Diagonal, the extensive modern campus of the Zona Universitaria spreads over the Pedralbes district of the city. It is here that the natural science and social and economic science faculties of the university are situated.
