Bangli - Puri Artha Sastra
The former palace of the Raja of Bangli, the Puri Artha Sastra, was converted some years ago into a small hotel, the owner of which is the young Raja himself.
The bales are decorated with traditional Balinese and with Chinese paintings. In the attractive grounds are a number of statues and figures from Hindu mythology. A large and imposing gate leads into the interior of the palace; on either side of the gate are fine reliefs.
